What does it means to trust God? Does it mean that you have to let go of everything and just leave everything in the hands of God? The answer is Yes. Absolutely. Let go and let God do the rest. It may sound scary and you may not understand why and how this is going to work. The bible clearly says:

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding”

And so I do agree. Many times, when I hear evil whispers and evil thoughts that come in my mind telling me to give up, my flesh really feels like giving it all up and just want to do what I think is right, do what I want to do. Often I tell myself, “if I do not do this” or “if I do not do that..” nothing will happen. My life will just be as it is. Empty. I was once told that a person can feel lonely in the heart even when their loved ones are physically beside them. Nothing beats the heavy, uneasy feeling of the emptiness in the heart. For what the heart feels, is what determined the mind. Proverbs 3:5 reminds me of all things, I have to really guard my heart well even if things do not makes sense in my life.

But what if I can’t guard my heart well?

Psalm 62:8 “Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.”

Psalm 62:8 tells me I can just pour out everything that burdens my heart and cast all my cares to God. The beauty of the two verses are that God knows that for us to trust Him completely, we have to give our precious heart, the main source of our feelings to God. Without setting the right emotions in the heart, we are not able to trust God completely.

It is tough I know. I, too have been struggling with this every single day of my life. Especially when I am in a current state of life that everything does not seem to makes sense. But I just wish to encourage anyone who reads this, that you are not alone.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you whereever you go”

And this beautiful verse is my prayer for those who fear of what is to come in life:

Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Stay faithful and hopeful. Let go, for trusting the Lord our God will only brings us more favors and blessings in our life.

Proverbs 16:9 “A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.”

John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

May God bless, guide your everyday steps and keep your heart guarded! ☺️<<<<<<<
